Could
Your Acid Reflux Really Be Cured Naturally -
Without Any Drugs ???
The
answer is YES!
However, you need
to determine
the specific natural cure that will work for YOU...

As
a medical doctor, with over 12 years experience in natural health
alternatives, I often get asked if there are natural ways to cure acid
reflux (GERD), heartburn, hiatal hernia, gastritis, bile reflux, and
several other related problems. The truth is that there are
numerous natural remedies that can be used to prevent, treat, and even
cure acid reflux...
However,
each individual is different so the tricky part is determining which
natural remedy will work for YOU. Near the bottom of this
page is a questionnaire to help me, help you determine what exactly
will
cure YOUR acid reflux.
Heartburn
is the most common symptom of acid reflux, and it's caused by stomach
acid backing up into your esophagus. The pain is often described as a
burning sensation, rising from the stomach into the center of your
chest.
Occasional
heartburn doesn't necessarily mean you suffer from Acid Reflux Disease.
However,
if you experience
heartburn more than twice per week, and if your heartburn gets worse
after you eat or when you lie down or bend over, you probably have a
more serious condition than heartburn. You
probably have Acid Reflux Disease.
Acid
Reflux Disease (also called Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease,
or GERD) occurs when the reflux of stomach acid is frequent enough that
it causes continual problems in your daily life, and/or results in
damage to your esophagus.
Acid
reflux disease can also lead to more serious medical conditions that
require hospitalization and even surgery. In some acid
reflux patients, acid can be regurgitated into the lungs, causing a
cough or wheezing. Acid
reflux in the throat can cause sore throat. If acid reaches the mouth,
it can dissolve the enamel of the teeth.
WARNING About Acid
Reflux Prescription Drugs & Antacids!
Many
people who have Acid Reflux Disease take
prescription drugs like
Prilosec or Nexium to treat their constant acid reflux disease. As
these prescription drugs treat their reflux symptoms, long-term
problems will arise as the body begins to produce extra amounts of
hormone called gastrin. Gastrin simply tells your stomach to make more
acid. I thought you wanted to get rid of the acid? Unfortunately, an
excessive amount of gastrin can create cancer cells to grow, thus
greatly increasing the risk of getting cancer in the stomach, esophagus
and more. If you exceeded the 8 week period of acid reflux drugs,
immediately
consult your doctor about changing your treatment ASAP!
Antacids
(i.e. Pepcid, Zantac, Tagamet, Rolaids,
and Tums) are only a
band-aid for your medical problem of acid reflux (heartburn). You are
not curing the heartburn but only treating the problem for a few hours.
Also, many antacids contain excessive amounts of Sodium, Aluminum,
Calcium, and Magnesium. Your body can only handle things in moderation
and an imbalance amount of these minerals can cause cancer, high blood
pressure and even Alzheimer's disease.
Consider talking to your doctor
about reducing your acid reflux medications and antacids -- Antacids
themselves can
actually cause acid
reflux to worsen and continue
to be an ongoing problem. What happens is that the antacids
take ALL the acid out
of your stomach, so then your body screams "I need more acid!" and starts pouring acid
back into your stomach.
This turns into a repeated cycle of you taking the acid reflux
prescription drugs or antacids to get rid of the acid
and then your body pouring
it back into your stomach, hence the reason you need to continue to
take them for years and years. What you really need to do is maintain a
natural, normal level of stomach acid
and this can only be done naturally.

Tips For Acid Reflux Sufferers
1. Soft is better! Eating soft foods
will allow your esophagus to heal
from the excessive acid caused by acid reflux.
2. Crunchy is bad! Nuts, crackers, toast, popcorn, cookies, breakfast
cereals will make your reflux situation worse by scratching your Lower
Esophageal Sphincter (LES).
3. Avoid Spicy and Acidic Foods! Spicy and Acidic foods can aggravate
your LES and cause heartburn. To prevent this from happening, stay away
from these foods, as well as alcohol, beer and soft drinks.
4. One cup of Joe! You should
not drink more than one cup of coffer per day!
5. Drink Water! You should try to drink one tall glass of water
after meals to aid with digestion.
6. Take a walk --
When people with reflux
walked for an hour after eating a big breakfast, the amount of time
that stomach acid was
in contact with the esophagus was cut by 17 percent compared to the
people who just sat for several hours after the meal.
7. Chew gum -- People who chewed gum for an hour after a meal have
reported less acid reflux.
But don't chew
peppermint gum. Mint is a common heartburn trigger and it may relax the
esophageal sphincter that's supposed to help keep stomach acid from spilling back up into
your esophagus.
8. Drink milk -- Some people find relief by sipping a small amount of
milk every 1 to 2 hours to help wash acid
back down into the stomach.
9. Eat an Apple -- Eat one slice (or a whole apple, if you wish) every
time that you feel your acid
reflux
symptoms start to act up, especially before you go to bed.
10. Don't Give Up -- Educate yourself and try various natural remedies. To get started, use the link below and
